Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

I am currently accepting new clients!

I am a Queer, Trans, Non-binary Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) located in Kingston, Ontario. I have 5+ years of experience working in community-based settings supporting marginalized and vulnerable community members, including people living with HIV, 2SLGBTQIA+ folks, people living with complex mental health challenges, those struggling with addiction, people who have experienced trauma (i.e. sexual assault, violence, etc.) and more.

As a Queer and Trans person, I entered this field for one simple reason: to offer care for our community, by our community. In my own wellness journey, I’ve met many helping professionals with the best of intentions, but who never truly understood me. As a clinician, I want to create an empowering therapeutic experience that centers your strengths, creativity, power, and resources, both as an individual and as an integral part of our community.

I enjoy working with a variety of presenting issues, including identity-related concerns (i.e. sexuality, gender, etc.), depression, anxiety, traumatic stress, and emotion-regulation. In my practice, I draw from Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and mindfulness-based approaches. I aim to create a space that feels affirming, compassionate, empowering, and collaborative for every client.
